Web-based interface to preconfigure a contact model computer simulator to study infectious disease outbreaks. The Computer Model relies on the SLIR Model where S: Susceptible, L: Latent, I: infectious, and R: Removal.
Web-based interface to preconfigure a contact model computer simulator to study the transmission of malaria in a non-particular region. Interaction between human and mosquito populations is generated. VECSIM modify GSCM to allow new features such as seasonal disease variation using temperature. Future work increment seasonal variables such as humidity and rain. Developed for demo purposes as a final project in Computational Epidemiology class Fall 2008.
